Peter Church in Rome. This simple act of nailing a pamphlet to a door set off a chain reaction which caused the church to split in 2 between northern Europe, which turned mostly Protestant and southern Europe, which by and large remained Catholic. While the Iron Curtain did not even survive 50 years, the division between Catholic and Protestant continues to this day, over 500 years after Luther decision to nail a pamphlet to a door.
The Artist Magazine January/February issue 2015 had an article on landscape composition, but it was these thumbnail sketches that illustrate the concepts which I found to be the most helpful. Reading through a lot of descriptive language is a lot slower for me to do than just seeing an illustration of the concepts. Landscape painting is not really my thing but I have attempted a few canvases.
Note]The photos left us shaken. But we chose to display the one below, taken on Wednesday, because of what it says not about the catastrophe but about the dignity of some survivors. It seemed to us unique in its homely understatement. Special thanks to nieces Sue Seals and Pam Smith and friend Carolyn Spray for all their help. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, one son Kenneth Chastine, one sister Lavon Phelps and one brother Kenneth Howell. Graveside services will be Thursday May 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
Going from my left flank I had 3rd Corps hooking round to try to reach Halle, next was 6th Corps, in the centre was 2nd Corps with first Corps in reserve behind along with extra cavalry, extra artillery and Napoleon HQ, to their right was 4th Corps while holding the right was 5th Corps with orders to reach Leipzig. This is evidently not the historical arrangement but there was method to it. Having played a fair few of these games I have come to know the idiosyncrasies and styles of some of my fellow gamers so this allowed me to put the best person in the role I wanted.

So if you wanted to make sure you found all the secret spells and legendary weapons, you had to explore every other path before the right one, otherwise the story might drag you, kicking and screaming, away from the best toys. That’s no longer the case with modern games. Most let you visit and revisit any area at any point, but it’s too late for me: The behavior is learned, and the damage is done..
